Gather records while access is available
Save the history and references you are permitted to retain. Review open support conversations and pending account actions so you know whether anything needs to finish before a closure request can proceed.
Where settings allow it, remove obsolete saved methods. Leave verified identity information accurate; replacing it with blank or invented details can interfere with the ownership checks needed to complete the request.
Make the request through account settings
Inspect privacy and account menus for the closure option. If there is no available control, contact the support route published by XX6 and state clearly that you want to close the existing profile.
Be prepared to confirm ownership through the registered contact or another approved check. A message from an unrelated address may not be enough. Keep the case number and any next step supplied in the reply.
Read what will remain after closure
The service may stop access immediately or after a stated deactivation interval. Read the confirmation for the actual timing instead of assuming that pressing the button removes every record at once.
Some information may remain for security, disputes, or applicable obligations. For questions about access, correction, or deletion of data, consult the privacy notice and submit the relevant request separately where required.
Treat restoration as a separate question
If the account provides a recovery period, record its deadline and the route for using it. Restoration may require the original login and another ownership check, and should never be assumed to be available indefinitely.
Keep the first closure case together. Creating another profile while it is unresolved can complicate identification and support history. Ask about the existing request before taking a step that would add another account to the situation.
