Check what the form actually accepts
Read the current list of documents and supported file formats before taking photographs. Confirm that the document is yours, has not expired, and contains the details requested by the verification screen.
Compare spelling, name order, and birth date with the profile. If an account field is wrong, use the correction process. Altering the photograph to match an incorrect entry is not an acceptable solution.
Take a photograph that can be read
Place the document flat against a plain background with even lighting. Move away from glare and keep every edge in the frame. Clean the lens if small text looks blurred.
Open the saved image before uploading it. Check the portrait, dates, printed text, and required marks without relying on heavy zoom. Retake a poor photograph rather than adding filters or sharpening that changes the original content.
Submit once through the verified screen
Reach the upload form from your signed-in account and confirm the address before attaching anything. A person contacting you unexpectedly through social media should not receive copies of your identity documents.
After submission, retain the case reference and review estimate. Unless the status requests another file, leave the existing submission in place. Repeated uploads can make it harder to follow which version is being reviewed.
Correct the reason, not the whole application
A rejected image needs a different response from an expired document or a profile mismatch. Read the explanation carefully and change only the item identified by that message.
If the wording does not explain the problem, ask support using the case number. Confirm the approved upload route before sending another sensitive file, particularly when the request arrives outside the account screen you normally use.
